Gateway Church's heart for missions
How Gateway is updating our approach to Global Workers

Q&A

Has our mission’s policy changed?

Yes, our policy has changed to clarify our vision to obey Jesus mandate to go to the unreached, to become more efficient in sending new workers and to involve our partner organization, ACOP Global Harvest who will help us with the technical work of supporting our workers.

Will we have staff missionaries?

No, moving forward we will only be sending workers who are approved by a sending agency and have raised their support through them.

Does the church support missionaries?

Yes, our policy requires that the operating budget continue to contribute to missions. Our expectation is that mission giving will grow not diminish.

Please continue to pray for our global mission, commit your finances and ask Jesus how he wants you to be involved.

Location: Europe, Middle East, Canada
Serving Since: 2017

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10:14-15)

I am convinced that Jesus is the only solution to the brokenness around us. My passion is to see the lost encounter the love and power of God, to see believers become disciples and to mobilize disciples to GO make disciples.

The majority of my work consists of training and equipping believers, partnering and supporting missionaries, churches and organizations in the Middle East, and training/sowing into discipleship making movements.

Tom & Jenni
Location: East Africa
Started Since: 2015

God has broken our hearts for the millions who are unreached and have little witness. We are now serving among a people group with few Christians, in an area with no established church, and are able to share Jesus with people who have not had a chance to encounter Him before.

Living and working among unreached peoples, we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and light up the darkness, everywhere we go. We plant seeds, share hope, and walk alongside people as they become disciples of Jesus and then send them out to multiply.
